The R-840 is a hybrid glove that combines Ringer's state-of-the-art impact protection with Ansell's premium knit fabrics.
Photogrammetry
The glove was photographed 360-degrees using a Sony a7-iii camera. High resolution Images were imported into RealityCapture where a scan model was generated. UV data was transferred to a production quality model using a Substance Painter baker. This is how I achieved a photorealistic result.
Cinema 4D
Cinema 4D was the primary tool to create the models, environments, lighting and rendering. The rubber bumpers on the glove inspired much of the visual elements throughout the video.
Redshift
Redshift was the renderer of choice for this project. It produced quality, high contrast, and dramatic lighting that worked well with the dark grays and blacks.
